Last season gave us a lot to celebrate at Rickmansworth Hockey Club as our Men’s 1s and Men’s 2s end the season with promotion!
Last year our Ladies 1s were promoted and finished comfortably in their new league. Our Men’s 3s and Ladies 2s have also maintained their league position. We’re a small local club, who have been running for 30 years. For us to continue to grow our presence in the leagues is a massive achievement, especially with the difficulty clubs have had post covid with players.
Not only this, but our junior section has seen amazing growth this year, with mixed U13 and U10 teams. Our ethos is to be an open and welcoming club, accepting players across all ability levels. We love introducing youngsters to the game and giving them the guidance they need to develop their skills and game awareness. This stands them in good stead as we move them up through the club to our men and ladies section.
